    Housing Market Strong
The Louisville metro area housing market remains strong according to recent statistics from the Greater Louisville Association of Realtors (GLAR).  Through September 30, 2005 there were 10,291 single-family homes sold with a median sales price of $140,000 and an average sales price of $176,282. There were 1,243 condominium units sold with a median sales price of $117,000 and an average sales price of $183,251. The average property sold for approximately 96.54% of list price in after 74 days on market.
